  • Like Obama isn't buying votes for 2012 with this porkulus package. Everything Obama does is to score political points, I applaud the Republican governors for rejecting this money. It will not stimulate the economy at all.

  • I don't think there is any scientific way to back this up, but if you look at the breakdowns of polls they will show that as people get older, they tend to vote more conservative.

  • Too early. There is still five weeks until the election. People are answering polls right now based on an emotional response to the finacial mess, not based upon reasoning or analytical thinking. Obama might win, but it will be close if he does.

  • Palin will win. She might not be an encyclopedia of knowledge, but she does understand political rhetoric and populism idealogy. She can "feel your pain" like Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan could. That is what made them such successful politicians.
